Raising the Bar and Making it Happen…”

A message from our Education Manager, Helena-Kelleese

Hey everyone!

We know you're all busy with work, family, and the other things that come with being a fully-functioning human being. But we also know that you're looking for ways to help out in your community and support local entrepreneurs and small businesses—and if you're reading this, we want you to join in on the action!

So today we want to let you know about an awesome new way you can support local entrepreneurs: through VMF Emergency Fund for Entrepreneurs. We need your help raising $5,000 for sponsoring emerging small business leaders in our Flourish Fellowship Accelerator, workshops that bring in high-level industry professionals, software subscriptions that support business operational costs and so we can keep helping small businesses grow in the Atlanta area.

Here at Village Micro Fund, we are creating an ecosystem to be the entrepreneurship hub for small businesses, providing funding, mentorship, network up, and educate them on foundation building within their businesses. We support individuals who want to start their own businesses but may not have access to traditional sources of capital. This campaign is especially important because 96% of black-owned businesses in Atlanta have zero to one employees—which means they often don't get the support they need from other businesses or agencies.

So if you'd like to support our vision—or if it just sounds like you can help in any other way—we'd love it if you shared with your network and DONATE to the FUND!

If you’d like to donate and receive VMF Merch, shop here! Proceeds go back to our Emergency Fund for Entrepreneurs.
